  3. INSTALLATION:

  5. This CD-ROM catalog uses the Extensis Portfolio software browser. If
  6. version 3.0 is installed on your hard drive, you may want to update to
  7. version 4.1, contained on this CD.
  8.  
  9. You do not need to install software to use this disc.  If you have
  10. difficulty launching the catalog (see below), or, if searching the
  11. catalog is too slow, install the Extensis Portfolio Browser (in the
  12. "Installer" folder on this disc) and then drag the AKA.fdb and AKA.adm
  13. files to your hard drive. Much faster.

  17. To launch the catalog, double-click the file titled "Plastock.fdb".

  22. All images are tif files in 24 bit color.  Set your system for millions
  23. of colors (or 24 bit) for best viewing.  Depending on the software
  24. installed on your machine, the display quality and color of the images
  25. may vary.

  28. System requirements:  16mb RAM, 12x CD-ROM drive, MacOS 7.0 or later.
  29. To view certain kinds of files from within the Portfolio Browser, make
  30. certain your system has a recent installation of Apple Computer's
  31. QuickTime system extensions (v3.0 or later), available at
